Ingredients for Moong Dal Juice
To make 4 to 5 glasses of juice you will need:
1- 1/2 cup green moong dal
2- 1 cup - jiggery powder
3- 1½ litters – water
4- 4-5 - Green cardamom
5- Pinch salt
How to make juice
1-Wash green lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 45 minutes.
Take care not to soak for more than 45 minutes, as this causes the lentils to
lose their flavour.
2-Now put jiggery powder in the grinder mixer.
3-Now stir in the soaked moong.
4-Now add cardamom.
5-Add salt to it to enhance the taste.
6-Add some water to the mixture.
7-Blend until the paste becomes fine.
8-Now add lemon juice to it.
9-Add one litre of water to the mixture.
10-Sieve the mixture at least twice so that no grains remain in it at
all. This method helps in improving the taste of the juice.
11-Keep it in the fridge for an hour and drink the cold juice.
