rose to 8.0% in November 2022, the highest in three months, from 7.77% within
the previous month, statistics from the Center for Monitoring Indian Financial
System (CMIE) confirmed on Thursday.
According to the data, the urban unemployment rate
increased to 8.96% in November from 7.21% the previous month, while the
agricultural unemployment rate decreased to 7.50% from 8.04%.
The facts from the primarily Mumbai-based CMIE are
