WhatsApp introduces a function to disable call alerts. uses for it.
Beta testers now have the option to turn off WhatsApp call notifications.
San Francisco: The messaging service WhatsApp,
which is owned by Meta, has started to roll out a new feature that allows users
to turn off call notifications on their Windows PCs.
According to WABetaInfo, beta testers now have
access to the option to turn off notifications for WhatsApp calls after
downloading the 2.2250.4.0 update from the Microsoft Store.
Users can check if they have access to this
function by going to WhatsApp Settings; Notifications. They can decide to turn
off notifications for incoming WhatsApp calls if this function has a toggle.
This feature is helpful since, due to an
unexpected problem, call notifications could appear even when the "do not
disturb mode" is activated. Users can now manually fix this flaw by
turning off the notifications.
In the meantime, the messaging service began
rolling out the capability to exchange contact cards on Windows Beta last
month.
Users might share contact cards on the same chat sharing
sheet thanks to this feature.
